    Could someone tell me please.....I'm filling the application for advance parole the first time......what should I write where it is written: " Date of intended departure"...if I dont know exactly when I'm leaving....should I write a date or should I write " I dont know yet?"

    And also I read that the documents required are 2 photos, I-485 receipt notice, I-140 approval notice.....is that right? or what other documents do I need?

    I would highly appreciate your help!

    Hi,
    1. I am planning to work with a new employer on EAD. As i have heard in order to file AC21 the employer letter should present same job description as previous. I would like to know what are the other things we need to consider in order to be safe while filing AC21.

    2. I requested my current employer to provide the copy of Labor certification that was filed for me. I received the following response from XYZ Company Inc., DOES NOT RELEASE COPIES OF THE LC, AS IT IS OUR APPLICATION WITH THE DOL FOR A POSITION NOT AN EMPLOYEE AND IT IS CONSIDERED PRIVILEGED AND CONFIDENTIAL.
    How should I have to obtain the Job Code etc.,?

    Hi gurus,

    I need your help, I am due for my H1b first time extension and I have requested my employer for the 1500 dollars "Education and training fee" , I got an email from the New HR personal to show me why the employer have to pay for it , I am trying to find a link to USCIC website where it clearly states the employer has to pay for it.But I am unable to find any thing relating to $1500 education and training fee, I did google search and it shows links from some schools and law firms. I would rather send a UCSIC link to the HR personal. By the way i am filing my H1B via Visa Kit.

    i just can't buy into the digital lens system.. Lenses are such an investment and I'd hate to go to a system like that, then a few years later have them offer their new "higher end" camera with a full frame.

    Hi,

    We filed a dependent I-485 for my wife while she is on a F1 status. She has a EAD card (but my I-140 is pending). My understanding is that once she finishes school, she will not be able to get an OPT. Does it mean that she can accept employment using the EAD even though the I-140 is not approved?

    In case my I-140 is denied, will she lose her status and would have to leave the country?

    Hello -

    I am currently in US on L-1B that is expiring on June 15th 2010. I am planning to travel to India and return to US around May 10th. That will be around a month from the date my visa expires. My question is will I face any problems at the port of entry upon my return? I am needed on an assignment in US until Aug 2011 and so my employer is planning to file an extension as soon as I return to US.

    Hi All,

    How important is the location of the US embassy for getting the H1B visa stamping ? When applying for my H1B petition in April 2008, my lawyer had mentioned that I would be going to the US embassy in Germany for the H1B visa interview. I'm also aware that I could go to my home country for doing the same. However, does anyone know if I can go to Canada/Mexico, given that I have the visas to go to these countries ? I have a US H4 visa.

    Has anyone contacted senators in NJ and got any response? I contacted them through regular mail filling out the forms from their website and enquiring on my pending 485 but haven't recived any response from either of them yet. I sent my papers on Sep 2nd and haven't heard anything back.

    As pappu stated in the first post of the above referenced thread - some of the ongoing efforts include finding how many IV members would get benefit from such a provision and get basic details such as username/Priority Date of impacted members. Future action items might include drafting documents and letters to support this provision. There maybe actions such as sending emails etc. However we would not be able to open a public action item unless we can have thousands of our members willing to participate in a grassroots action item. This survey intends to understand the needs of our membership for this provision and collect grassroots information.

    The fact is we have a dedicated group of volunteers (and we need more) who have been trying their best to spread the message about this initiative so that a strong grass-roots support can be created leading up to launch of the public action items. So far we have around 1100 people who have responded. Based on quick calculations carried out using PERM data, it is estimated that there are at least 60K-70K EB applicants waiting to file I-485/EAD/AP (this is a very conservative estimate..the actual number could be much more). Grass-roots initiatives require time and patience and we request maximum number of impacted folks to participate actively.

    I got a email from school today that because of my unability to attend the school for 1 sem I have been dropped off of the school

    I have a question. How many days I can stay in USA after my sevis is terminated.

    Hi,

    My details:

    - Bsc Computers (3 yrs) + MBA (2 yrs)
    - GC - EB3, Oct 2003.
    - Applied for 9th Year H1B in October. (H1B Visa expired in Oct)
    - EAD and AP approved.
    - Just got CRIS email of I140 & 485 denial notices (waiting for the USCIS letter for reasons).
    - Previous company closed down and I had given Experience letter from a colleague, who is now on H4.

    Questions?

    1. Am I out of status already due to denial notices?

    2. Will I get an H1B Extension?

    3. If my lawyer decides to file an MTR, will I be allowed to work until my EAD/H1B is valid.
